Mesotherapy treatment involves injecting specific vitamins and active ingredients like kojic acid, glutathione, Alpha hydroxy acids and others into the deeper layers of the skin. Mesotherapy solutions are injected into the skin using a very fine needles called Meso needles. The solutions can also be injected using a motorised injectible technique called a dermapen.
Mesotherapy is a minimally invasive procedure and injections may be slightly painful. To ensure patient comfort a numbing anaesthetic cream is applied prior to the procedure which ensures that the entire procedure is comfortable and painless for the patient.
The mesotherapy procedure usually requires 4 to 5 sessions which are repeated at intervals of 1 to 2 months.
The procedure is very safe and has been in practice since the past two decades. The entire procedure usually takes around 45 minutes to 1 hour. A slight swelling and redness maybe seen after the procedure which usually settled within 24 hours.
